7 Things I Wish My Wife Told Me Before I Married Her

This week things are different. Different as in not the same. Instead of your typical post with cheesy pictures and captions that make immature 6th graders laugh, this blog post is being written entirely by the man behind the scenes. The man that has to put up with the drama. The man that has to have patience like a solar powered Citizen Eco-Drive wristwatch. The man who has to wake up tangled in a giant ball of frizzy blonde hair. The man that has to endure gastrointestinal eruptions that would provide enough natural gas to power 200 small villages. For a year. The man who has to laugh at jokes such as "what do you call cheese that's notch yo's?" ugh. Yes, I am that man. I am Arthur.

My Top 15 Wedding Picture Favorites!

Arthur and I FINALLY just got our wedding pictures back and I've been so excited!  Browsing through 1600 pictures of the best day of my life is almost like just reliving it.  It's really hard to choose which pictures are my favorite- mostly because I love them all (or most of them), and also because each picture encompasses a different memory I had of that wonderful day.  I managed to pick 15 of my favorites, each for different reasons.  Here you are: :)

Moving, Exploring, & Moped Shopping

It's been almost two and a half weeks since I posted a blog post which is crazy... it hardly seems like it has been that long.  Some days go by really slowly... like the week I was sick and the week we moved. Other days seem to fly by.  I really love it here.  It is a great place to live.  If all our family and friends were here- I would probably move here for good.  Okinawa is generally a really safe place.  There are 5 year olds walking down the street, tons of people out at night, and everyone continues to be so nice.  The weather so far has been good!  It has rained maybe 5 times, been sunny a few, and mostly cloudy and in the 60s the rest of the time.  I was expecting warmer weather though so we don't have very many jackets so to us, it seems freezing!   Which I don't mind cold weather, so I like it.  Plus- I heard that the summers here get really humid and hot.  Can't wait to check out my hair in that.... ;)

Month 1 of 24

In just two short days, Arthur and I will already have been here for a month.  The time here so far has seemed to fly by so quickly.  Between exploring, settling in, looking for jobs, apartments, restaurants, and beaches, this first month held so many adventures.  It has been so much fun...
