The Love Story

This WAS us. When we were engaged.  & now we are married!!! (see below)

Here is the love of my life, my future husband, the one my soul loves, my best friend, and the man I will spend the rest of my life with.
.arthur.

I love him.  He is a man of God, a wonderful, caring, giving, passionate man.  We met through church and through the gym I worked at in August of 2012.   We started dating November 28, 2012, and as they say- the rest is history.  We quickly fell in love and on February 1, 2014- he asked me to marry him.  It was the most romantic proposal and of course I said yes! To hear the proposal story, check out this post HERE.  It's been an amazing adventure and we have been so fortunate to be able to spend so much time together, travel to many different places, and simply be in love with each other.  I will soon be a bride to this amazing man, and I will be documenting our adventures, misadventures, struggles and victories of being husband and wife.  I cannot wait to be married.  I love him.  So stay tuned for more of our new life together :)

Just a few of our wedding pictures :)

  1. Hello,

Hope you are all well.Today I am talking about love.So please drawing kind attention from all. Are you know that,Love Eliminates The Sense Of Separation or Loneliness. When we believe our judgments about people, it can seem as if we are alone or separate from others. This creates this longing for connection and love. All it takes to have this connection we yearn for is to just be with people without judgment. In the absence of judgment, love is what remains. When we are present with someone, we automatically feel a closer connection to, and more intimacy with, the people around us. Our feeling of separateness from people disappears. To know more information you can visit-love

That time when Derek and Katie visited Okinawa...

I think I should start off saying I have the coolest brother ever, and due to the fact that he’s marrying Katie, I guess she’s cool by association. JK. She’s great too. What makes them even cooler is that fact that they came and visited our little Japanese island we call home. (Yes, it’s OURS!) After spending a few days in Tokyo, they flew down south to Japan’s “Hawaii”.      I’ll have you know, we checked the forecast the day they were arriving and it said rain for the next 6 days (the length of time they were here for). With lots of prayers, I’m so thankful to say that the weather was amazing the whole time they were here! It was sunny and warm and perfect. Thank you Jesus!   Arthur and I met Derek and Katie at the airport, only to be greeted with what I would picture as the Japanese version of them. They walked off with facemasks on and if it weren’t for their height, I may have mistaken them for true Japanese! ;) (see video below) They were s...

Tiffany & Co Bridal Shower

So you've seen my Coral themed bridal shower (For those of you that haven't, you should definitely check it out here ) but as my duties as a maid of honor, I was given the opportunity and privilege to host my cousin's bridal shower.  When I asked her what she wanted as a theme- she knew instantly.  "Breakfast at Tiffany's".  I had no idea how many great ideas I would find on Pinterest under this category, but let me tell you- there was millions!  It was so fun.  We had it this last saturday at the same place I had mine at- so some of the things look pretty similar, just in a different color.  Everyone was asked to wear black which was adorable, and the bride wore a black and white dress so she stood out.  She looked so beautiful.

PURE JOY

Well, the moment almost every woman waits for in her life occurred for me at the beginning of this month. No, it wasn't getting my license.  No, it was not graduation high school.   No, it was not turning 21.   No, it was not graduating college.
