DAY 4, 5, 6, 7

So I've been slacking on blog updates but the good news is...I've stayed strong and haven't cheated or stopped doing the cleanse! Friday ended my food AND juice cleanse and since Saturday I have only had juice.  I have decided to end the just juice cleanse early however because I'm constantly hungry and think that the short 5 day cleanse will be good for my body, but then I can just continue to eat healthy. (but more...so I'm not always hungry haha, or HANGRY).

Friday was tough because I drove up to Portland with my mom to try on wedding dresses :)...but that meant I had to pack food for an entire day. I packed a salad, a banana, 4 apples, some strawberries, and a smoothie.  This stuff wasn't on the meal plan but I figured fruit and veggies were a safe bet.

The just juice cleanse has been pretty tough and I have to admit that I have eaten some grapes, an apple, and some raisins just because I needed some actually food.  I made a cake on Saturday for some odd reason- but I just really love baking.  AND I didn't eat any of it! For me, that's a huge accomplishment haha.

Today is Monday, Day 3 and I've lost around 7lbs.  I'm feeling better! My mind is clear, I have energy at times... (it comes and goes), but overall I've felt pretty well.  Only three days left! The cleanse plan included beets in some of the juices, which I have realized is so nasty.  But good for you!! Below are some of the pictures of juices I have made. I am kind of excited for it to be over though :)...

That time when Derek and Katie visited Okinawa...

I think I should start off saying I have the coolest brother ever, and due to the fact that he’s marrying Katie, I guess she’s cool by association. JK. She’s great too. What makes them even cooler is that fact that they came and visited our little Japanese island we call home. (Yes, it’s OURS!) After spending a few days in Tokyo, they flew down south to Japan’s “Hawaii”.      I’ll have you know, we checked the forecast the day they were arriving and it said rain for the next 6 days (the length of time they were here for). With lots of prayers, I’m so thankful to say that the weather was amazing the whole time they were here! It was sunny and warm and perfect. Thank you Jesus!   Arthur and I met Derek and Katie at the airport, only to be greeted with what I would picture as the Japanese version of them. They walked off with facemasks on and if it weren’t for their height, I may have mistaken them for true Japanese! ;) (see video below) They were s...

Tiffany & Co Bridal Shower

So you've seen my Coral themed bridal shower (For those of you that haven't, you should definitely check it out here ) but as my duties as a maid of honor, I was given the opportunity and privilege to host my cousin's bridal shower.  When I asked her what she wanted as a theme- she knew instantly.  "Breakfast at Tiffany's".  I had no idea how many great ideas I would find on Pinterest under this category, but let me tell you- there was millions!  It was so fun.  We had it this last saturday at the same place I had mine at- so some of the things look pretty similar, just in a different color.  Everyone was asked to wear black which was adorable, and the bride wore a black and white dress so she stood out.  She looked so beautiful.

ANXIETY and How to Deal with it.
