DAY 3

Day 3 wasn't too bad at all!  I'm finding that I don't have much energy in the morning time, but after I get up and get ready I seem to have quite a bit of energy.  My self control with eating candy (I have the biggest candy addiction in the world..no joke) has been so good!! My cousin asked me the other day what is different because usually I can't control myself on any type of diet or cleanse... and honestly the only thing that is different is I prayed! I prayed for strength and self control and it honestly has worked better than anything I have tried before.  Some may think that's silly, but it has been awesome!

Veggies for my soup
I made a soup today, which was actually kind of good.  It included vegetable broth, broccoli, kale, celery, leeks, and zucchini, as well as some garlic and parsley.  You heat all of it up on the stove and then you blend it... which was interesting.  But it was actually pretty good!

Green Detox Soup

I've found myself snacking on either apples or raisins (not so healthy) when I get really hungry and that's been holding me over :).  Almost done with the first five days! Yay!

After spending a few days in Tokyo, they flew down south to Japan’s “Hawaii”.      I’ll have you know, we checked the forecast the day they were arriving and it said rain for the next 6 days (the length of time they were here for). With lots of prayers, I’m so thankful to say that the weather was amazing the whole time they were here! It was sunny and warm and perfect. Thank you Jesus!   Arthur and I met Derek and Katie at the airport, only to be greeted with what I would picture as the Japanese version of them. They walked off with facemasks on and if it weren’t for their height, I may have mistaken them for true Japanese! ;) (see video below) They were s...

PURE JOY

Well, the moment almost every woman waits for in her life occurred for me at the beginning of this month. No, it wasn't getting my license.  No, it was not graduation high school.   No, it was not turning 21.   No, it was not graduating college.

Getting connected.
